Sudan's Sovereign Council on Thursday approved Cabinet outline of the transitional government, the first since former president Omar al-Bashir was deposed in April, an official said.
A member of the council told Anadolu Agency on condition of anonymity that "the council adopted the outline of the transitional government".
Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok will announce the government officially at a press conference within hours, according to the same source.
