Hezbollah prepares for new battle in Aleppo

Tens of Hezbollah militants occupied a school, close to Shia villages in Aleppo, to make it a military point, Aleppo Media center reported.

500 fighter have gathered there in step to break the siege implemented by FSA on the Nobul and Zahraa, Pro-Assad towns and the mean suppliers of Shabiha. the source said.

In mid-2013, Nasrallah publicly pledged his forces to the survival of Syria's Assad regime, Hezbollah's longtime ally. "This battle is ours ... and I promise you victory," he said in a televised address. Western and Israeli analysts fear that Hezbollah fighters, armed with sophisticated Iranian missiles, may tip the balance on the battlefield against Sunni rebels. In June, more than a thousand Hezbollah fighters helped Syrian forces retake the strategic city of Qusayr. Israeli military officials say Iran and Hezbollah are marshaling tens of thousands of fighters in support of the Assad regime, according to CFR study.
