Germany grants political asylum for opposition figures

Germany has granted a political asylum for number of Syrian opposition personalities, well-informed sources within the National Coalition said on Wednesday.

The veteran dissident Haitham al-Maleh, NC member and head of legal committee, and businessman Bassam al-Malek, who based in Cairo, were granted political asylum in their attempt to escape the deteriorating situation for Syria opposition in Egypt since ousting President Mohamed Morsi on July 3 2013.
