Damascus suffered recently from lack of natural milk according the ongoing war in its countryside especially in al-Gouth the basic source for food, meat and milk.
Eqtsad( Business newspaper) source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed the risks of losing the main resource for milk after a disease struck the cows. Smallpox infection has spread in some area of al-Ghouta. There's no way to treat the cows under the heavy shelling all the day; the human beings themselves can't find a way for life, the source added.
The total price of bottle of milk 1 liter ranged between 175 to 200 S.P.
