(Zaman Al Wasl)- A drone strike by the U.S.-led coalition killed three ISIS (Daesh) fighters in the border town of Afrin in northern Syria, source told Zaman al-Wasl Saturday.
The drone hit the vehicle of ISIS fighters with three missiles on a road links between Afrin and Azaz near the Turkish border.
Hunting ISIS members have been the main goal of the international coalition following the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a raid by US forces in northern Syria on October 27.
The coalition says its strikes have removed several hundred ISIS fighters from the battlefield and hurt the group’s ability to pay for terrorist activities.
