(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian journalist and photographer Tayseer Al-Kojk has been recently placed third for his photograph in a competition organized by Guru Shots site for photography in Berlin.
With 1,378 photos participating, the photograph of the Berlin Oberbaum Bridge at sunset got 3,702 votes.
With photography being a big part of his work as a journalist, Al Kojk is used to participating in several exhibitions.
After moving to Germany, he felt a great void so he invested in his old hobby. He joined Guru Shots, a large network interested in photography and its techniques with over 400 million subscribers.
Guru Shots organizes exhibitions around the world, and awards certificates to the participants. He had previously obtained a “Master” degree.
Kojk said that he took the shot of the Oberbaumbrücke Bridge with the clouds playing a big role in mixing the colors of sunset. The background displays two towers on the bridge as wel as the German TV tower.
