Syrian rebels have killed 11 soldiers after targeting their barrack in Daraya suburb near Damascus, activists and media outlets reported Saturday.
The regime warplanes have retaliated by striking the embattled city with barrel bombs leaving massive destruction.
Syria's conflict, now in its fourth year, has killed more than 162,000 people, a third of them civilians, and caused millions to flee.
