A well-informed source says 450 detainees with ‘Terrorism charges’ by Syrian regime to be released on Friday from Adra prison near Damascus.
Lawyer and Human rights advocate Michel Shammas said other 80 female detainees would be freed in the planned presidential amnesty, two days after announcing Bashar al-Assad a third-mandate president for war-torn country in election dubbed as a skit.
Syria's conflict, now in its fourth year, has killed more than 162,000 people, a third of them civilians, and caused millions to flee.
