By the end of this month, Jarba’s presidency for the Coalition would come to end, and it is expected to have a wave of conflict, discussion, dividing and distrust among the Coalition’s members, where the division within the coalition body between Riyadh Hijab and Ahmed Jarba has reached to unprecedented level of bribery and deepening of the dependency and subjection to others.
In the same time, no official reaction to the Syrian presidential election for Bashar al-Assad, by the Coalition, all they done expressing their disgusting of the situation, without any tangible actions.
The Coalition presidency body has not yet called for a meeting to decide if the Coalition president would be chosen by election or agreement. However this does not mean that Jarba is going to breach the rules of procedure of the Coalition, most likely he would put one of his supporters for the position and apply Butin- Medvedev plan.
It is expected that the conflict for choosing the Coalition leader to affect the two poles in Syrian conflict, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, to call for even international intervention to help in finding the suitable president of the Coalition.
The painful questions now, what has the Coalition done to Syrians despite it has been recognized internationally by over 100 country as a representative to the Syrian revolution? Moreover, what is the role of the Coalition president, who had had the position without public election, who spent his presidency living luxury life, and did not visit any liberated area in Syrian or looked after the refugees and Syrian children?
The annoying wondering is that the disagreement between the two main bodies within the Coalition, would the conflict between them last as long the conflict between Qatar and Saudi Arabia lasts.
In the end, it seems that determining the period of the Coalition’s presidency for 3 months only and extendable only once, a sneak plan to kill the revolution by distracting the political figure each 3 months with the process of finding a president, where the downward outcomes of that are countless, as that deepen differences and disagreement between members, and attract positions’ lovers, who do not care about Syrian inside an outside the country.
It is time to stand against what has been going on, and to call the Coalition to value the Syrian’ sacrifices. It is time to choose a symbol form inside Syria till the revolution ends, as the three or six months period is a trap for fame followers.
