Nusra Front besieges pro-Assad villages in northern Homs

(Zaman Alwasl)- Opposition activists said fighters of al-Qaeda- affiliated group took control of Um Sharshouh village in the northern countryside of Homs province.

Early today, al-Nusra’s explosives-laden vehicle has exploded and killed several militants loyal to Bashar al-Assad forces in the village.

Meanwhile, Pro-Assad activists have launched a distress call via social media for regime army to defend villages of Um Sharshouh, Jabbourin, Tasnin and Kafranan against the offensive.
