Daesh kidnaps six civilians west of Deir Ezzor

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Islamic State militants have kidnapped six people in eastern Deir province, local news site said Saturday.

According to Deir EzZor 24, the militant Daesh group stormed the regime-held village of Al-Tabni in the western countryside and took six civilians captive.

In the last weeks, Daesh has carried out a series of attacks on regime forces and Iran-backed militias in a desert area links between the central province of Homs and Deir Ezzor.

On Thursday, Daesh executed a man over links with the International Coalition in Deir Ezzor desert, known as Badiya.

Also in Deir Ezzor, the landmines have killed three people, including a US-backed fighter, local activists said.

A member of the Syrian Democratic Forces was killed and others wounded in a landmind explosion in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor while two people were killed due to landmines regime-held areas.

The conflict in Syria has killed more than 390,000 people and displaced 7.5 millions.
