Head of Deir Ezzor Military Council escapes assassination

 (Zaman Alwasl)- Head of Deir Ezzor's Military Council Monday escaped an assassination attempt by unknown armed group.

Col. Munir Abu Moataz told Zaman Alwasl that a group of of 'Revolution enemies' targeted his car in al-Mohassan town near the city of Deir Ezzor, east Syria.

Moataz did not accuse any rebel group of this attempt, promising to reveal the assassins identity soon.
