Pro-regime social media activists said top Militia fighter killed south Damascus on Tuesday.
The well-known militant Mwafaq Badriya was born in Aadhar village, predominantly Druze, he gained fame for his savage personality as he committed many crimes since the Syrian uprising erupted in March 2011, activists said.
Badriy had a close relationship with Assad's ally Samir Kuntar, the Lebanese Druze former member of the Palestine Liberation Front who spent 30 years in the Israeli prison.
Despite pro-democracy protests in many Druze strongholds in Swaida province and neighboring districts of Syria's capital, huge numbers of people were a main ally to Assad forces with Hezbollah militia.
