Turkish Universities recognize Baccalaureate issued in rebel-held areas

The Turkish government has agreed on equalizing and recognition of the Secondary certificate given by the National Coalition last year what may allow 6000 Syrian students would be able to enroll in the Turkish Universities or equivalent outside the country.

Mohamed Sarmini, Advisory of the head of the interim government said that decision agreed on accreditation the secondary certificates issued by the High National Authority for Education and higher Teaching in the National Coalition and would be recognized by Turkish government and law.

On his Facebook page, Sarmini mentioned that the interim government represented by the Ministry of teaching and Education have played the main role to achieve that important recognition, which would allow students who last year got the secondary certificate issued by the national coalition to register in the Turkish universities and continue studying in.

More than 10 thousand students applied for the secondary certificate examination run by the Coalition, 6 thousand of them succeeded in passing the exam and getting the certificate.
