Airstrikes in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo killed 4 people on Saturday as helicopter gunships pounded rebel-held neighborhoods, activists said.
Early today, 3 people have been killed in Deir Jammal village in Aleppo countryside and one other killed Kallaseh neighborhood.
The Syrian military has been dropping barrel bombs -- crude weapons stuffed with gasoline that inflict much devastation on impact -- over Aleppo's rebel-held areas. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the airstrikes have killed more than 2,000 since January.
