Rebels accuse ISIL of suspicious role in Eastern Ghouta

Many recent events have ignited the long-simmering anger against The Islamic State of Iraq and The Levant (ISIL), whose violations against the Syrian revolution have reached intolerable degree, and recently sources informed Zaman Alwasl that the state of Iraq and the Levant has withdrawn from their only position in Ghoutta –Damascus, to disappear entirely from the confrontation scene with the regime and his Shiites mercenaries, from this vital region that surrounds Damascus like a bracelet.

This withdrawal coincides with regime’s brutal intervention on Ghoutta from Meleha’s side, which entered its 83rd day, and amid the many raised questions that haven’t stopped about ISIL’s absent role in confronting “Rafidha” and “Nusayri” which the state has threatened to eliminate their existence in every occasion!

ISIL’s withdrawal goes hand in hand with a possible confrontation with the Army of Islam (Jaysh al-Islām), since the latter relations with the state have worsen lately, in particular, because of the two incidents of car bombing in Duma, and the assassination of the state’s dissident judge “ Anas Quider, two incidents in which the Army of Islam has explicitly accused ISIL of being the mastermind.

However, the incident of “Souq Al Hal” made matters worse, and the Army of Islam issued a statement about this subject, saying: “two ISIL’s fighters have entered Duma’s souq wearing explosive belts and started distributing leaflets, and people gathered around them in an attempt to stop them, but one of them threatened to blow his explosive belt, and consequently, the two of them were beaten and handed over to the to the nearest point of Army of Islam."

Moreover, the statement continued to say that “the two fighters were arrested for investigation and have been submitted to the judiciary, and as usual, Daesh malicious reaction was to betray and arrest the soldiers of an entire checkpoint, killing some of them in total indifference to the fact that shedding Muslims’ blood is forbidden.

The statement called on people not to be lenient with al-Baghdadi group, accommodate or provide them with any help, because it’s considered a crime that will open the door of ISIL’s oppression and aggression against them.

SIL entered Syria war as al-Qaeda’s representative, joining hundreds of other groups who have been fighting to topple the Syrian government, yet it has done nothing to fulfill this goal, instead its concentration from the beginning was on territorial claim and oil wells, executing many FSA fighters in its way to reach those aims.
