Four Syrian refugees, including three children, have died after falling down in a 65 foot deep well in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli, activists said Sunday.
The tragic incident began when three Syrian children fell into an abandoned well in the Shalfa district near Tripoli.
Two men, including a Lebanese citizen, were also fell down in the well while they were trying to rescue the children.
Lebanon is currently the home to some 1.5 million refugees who have fled Syria’s bloody war.
