Many young men are recruited to fight with the Iraqi Shiite militia, where they take Sayyida Zainab as a center for facilitating the job and train fighters.

Sources in Jobar expressed their fear from the phenomena, as not Shiite people get recruited in that sectarian mercenary militias at the highest wages which exceed the Lebanese’s and Iraqi’s paid-soldiers.

After interrogation, Rami confessed that young men in Damascus are targeted for recruiting, especially the poor, unemployed and unable to leave the country, at wages reach to S.P 30 thousand, around USD 190.

Moreover, Sha’ar revealed that a high-ranked Iranian intelligence officers recommend targeting the Sunni young men, and give them special treatment. He talked about many actions taken to facilitate recruiting people from other countries, any nationality and many of them are sent to other cities in Syria.

Experts in the Syrian conflict considered the phenomena as “very dangerous” and they expect that Iran wants Syrian people to fight each other. They wish to stop the process.

Many revolutionary coordinations and Facebook pages condemn the incidence and tried to explain it by suggesting that only some pro-regime neighborhoods that have people do get recruited with that militia.
