(Zaman Al Wasl)- Three people were tested positive for COVID-19 in the southern province of Sweida, a local news site said Wednesday.
Sweida24 said the confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in the eastern countryside of Sweida.
Seven more people who were in contact with the cases have been put under quarantine in Shahba hospital.
Nearly 460 Syria people have been confirmed with the coronavirus, and while 140 people have recovered and more than 120 have died, according to data from the World Meters organisation.
Opposition health officials doubt that the number is accurate, saying Syria is seen at high risk from the virus.
