At least one person was killed and 11 others wounded late on Wednesday in two Russian airstrikes on the al-Bab region in northern Aleppo province, local activists said.
The wounded people are mostly children and family members, according to Zaman al-Wasl correspondent.
Several ambulances were dispatched to the site and the White Helmets civil defense group continued search and rescue work in the wreckage of the destroyed buildings, the Anadolu Agency said.
Turkish-backed Syrian rebels in February 2017 had captured the town of Al-Bab, 25 kilometres (15 miles) south of the Turkish border, from the Islamic State group after weeks of heavy fighting.
