Activists from Homs have broadcasted a new series on Youtube called “Homsi Daily Life” which talks in comedian way, about life in Homs and suffering people and activists undergo in their daily lives.

The first episode, named “Media Activist” highlighted the difficulties activists have during their coverage in hot areas in Homs, not only because of bombing and shelling by regime, but because people’s attitude toward them.

In the series, an activist was faced with difficulties during his coverage of events in Homs, because people have a preconception that media activist are rich and have lots of money, therefore, they demanded money from him to talk about the situation in the area.

Another difficulty was preventing him from filming, as they thought he could bring bad luck and troubles to them.

This is the second work of this kind Homsi activists produced, after “Spotlight” which confirms the interest of Homsi activists in social Media as a way to present their suffering, despite the hard circumstances they live under, which make the normal living quite difficult to achieve, how to produce an artistic work.

This work can be considered a new addition to the exceptional rebels, who have proven in reality their brave and resistance against more than 1000 days of siege. Despite the modest level of the scenario and the direction, the series might be considered as achievement due to the difficult circumstances.
