No truce with Assad's forces in Al Mleiha: rebel source

 (Zaman Alwasl)- A rebel source in al-Mleiha town in Eastern Ghouta denied reports of an imminent truce with Bashar al-Assad’s forces.

Activists have circulated news of a ceasefire agreement in the embattled town which controlled by Islam Army, main unit of Key rebel group the Islamic Front.

For months, Assad’s forces backed by the Lebanese Shia group, Hezbollah has been battling to recapture al-Mleiha, a strategic rebel bastion.

Al-Mleiha has been under siege for more than a year, and under near-constant bombardment for months.
