The political Authority meeting in Istanbul in last two days resulted in 8 important decisions. Source reported to Zaman Alwasl that recommendations to support the military council within the available fund were decided, because Aleppo witnesses the worst on-ground military situation, with latest disastrous development after the industrial areas, which was liberated two years ago, has fallen under regime’s control. This decision came after news about ceasing a payment of USD one million by Ahmad jarba, the Coalition president which was supposed to fund the military council.
Well informed sources reported that Local military leadership in Aleppo was supposed to receive the fund. They expected that Jarba was waiting the outcomes of the Coalition's Presidency Election to act accordingly.
An official statement, the Local Council in Aleppo demanded the coalition, the Interim Government and Military Council to do their job properly and protect Aleppo and revolution from regime from one side, and ISIS from the other, which led to losing significantly strategic areas like Sheikh Najar and Industrial Areas.
The source revealed that first recommendation was to form a workshop to evaluate the on-ground situation and report the outcomes to the General Authority. The committee included Nora al-Amir, Bader Jamoos, Nazir Hakim, Mohammed Kheir, Jamal al-Wazir and Riyadh al-Ward al-Hasan.
The second recommendation was to form a team to evaluate agreements and ceasing-fire and put a plan to fix mistakes.
The third decision recommended forming a preparatory committee to evaluate the Military organizational steps.
The fourth recommendation included agreement on the application for membership of the higher Council for the Revolutionary Leadership and to forward the decision to the General Authority. The last decision was rejecting the application for decision in regard to membership of Revolution General Authority because it missed stamping and signature.
The last two recommendations included an invitation for the minister of Culture to attend the General Authority’s next meeting, and to accept the paper presented by the Coalition’s women in regard to General Authority’s agenda.
In a relevant context, sources in direct relationship with the Coalition confirmed that a meeting took place of very important political figures from the Gulf hours ago with the coalition’s leaders aiming to help in identify the next president for the Coalition.
