Syrian rebel group has shot down two Russian drones in northwestern Idlib province, a military source said Sunday.
Al-Fateh al-Mubin, an operations room of rebels and jihadist factions, shot down two attack drones in the eastern countryside of Larakia and the Jabal al-Zawiyah region, according to source.
Russian and Turkey agreed a truce on March 6 that has largely halted the fighting but Russia resumed air strikes on Idlib and neighboring Hama with dozens of air strikes.
The nine-year-old conflict has killed more than 490,000 people and displaced 13 million.
