Video: Lebanese family enjoys torturing Syrian refugee boy

(Zaman Alwals-Yusra Ahmed)- A video published on Youtube and Ya-sour website showed shocking images of a double humanitarian crime against childhood.

In the video, a toddler, about 2-3 years old, called Abbas, his parents have Lebanese accent. The child was holding a stick and hitting, under his parents’ encouragement, another child aged around 5-6 years, most likely not Lebanese, and maybe Syrian. The parents kept encouraging the toddler to go ahead and cause more pain to the victim by telling him “hold the stick with both hands and hit him on his head”

Then the background voices requested “Abbas” the toddler, to slam and hit the victim with his fist on face and boxing him, besides kicking him in tummy. A voice of woman ordered the victim to keep his hand held to his back, however the poor child begged them to keep the beating less painful.

Then an older child came to help the toddler “Abbas” but the victim begged him not to hit him.

The video is extremely stressing and shocking. It shows the double humanitarian crime against the victim, and against the poor toddler who has been used to fulfill his parents’ criminal and inhuman behavior and personality.

We request all people who see the video to share it and publish it with translation to all languages to show the scale of the crime and force the Lebanese government to punish these people.
