Two Kurdish YPG militants were wounded when an explosives-rigged motorcycle blew up in northeastern Qamishli city, activists told Zaman al-Wasl Saturday.
The rigged motorcycle exploded in a military site for the Kurdish Protection Units in the village of Himo.
With the YPG militia at its forefront, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) defeated Islamic State in 2017 across much of north and east Syria with U.S. help.
Since then, Daesh jihadists have carried out a series of bomb attacks that have struck towns and villages in the SDF region.
