Northern Syria: small projects cost less than $500

Many young people do not prefer to stay jobless, so they resort to opening small projects that will let them earn a small income.

Here are five small projects that do not cost more than $ 500 and anyone can open as it does not require much experience.

Local cleaning supplies

A simple chemical mixing experience and a little bit of patience can get you into a mid-income business. Many have resorted to this method to save themselves of the unemployment  spreading in Syria. This, of course, is about a small store that manufactures and sells remarkably popular local cleaning supplies.

This project requires no equipment other than large-sized plastic drums used to mix chemicals with each other, in addition to water, to produce dishwashing liquid, cleaning chlorine, floor sterilizer and other materials that are inexpensive.

You can get raw materials at stores. However, be aware of the health risks that may arise from incorrect mixing of some substances.

Bread Cart

It might sound funny to expose an amount of bread package on a sidewalk while there is a bakery only a few meters away from the place of sale. But this does not apply to the situation in Syria because of the crowding of people in front of the bakeries, which makes it a profitable and beneficial project for you to buy 500 packages, for example from a bakery, and then sell them during daylight hours.

In fact, this project is a source of income for tens of families. You only need to choose a crowded place; Market for example, and start making money.

Cart for selling Vegetables

Not all vegetables and fruits are expensive, and low-income people are always assigned cheap varieties that they can buy without spending a lot of money.

Many have taken advantage of this opportunity and choose a crowded location, then offer loads of cheap vegetables, legumes and fruits.

This project is not expensive, you only need the price of the goods and an iron structure to buy from the user market to display the vegetables. Do not forget from time to time to rinse the fruits and sprinkle them with water in order to give them an attractive look.

Kiosk and Coffee Machine

Opening a coffee shop can be difficult for low-income people, as it is considered one of the money-generating projects, due to the high value of the coffee machine and its need for gas and electricity at the same time.

Regardless of these difficulties, a number of smart people have resorted to buying a small size coffee machine that runs on electricity only for $ 100.

Since most of the Syrian provinces do not have electricity, an electric generator running on gasoline can be purchased for an amount not exceeding another $ 100.

A small kiosk can be made of brick or wood and the opening of the project will showcase some of the coffee products available in the market.

This machine is small in size, but it produces very delicious coffee, and you will see the success of your business in the coming weeks.

Chicken meat store

As a result of the high cost of lamb, Syrians used to buy chicken meat, as it is cheaper.

You can benefit from the people’s demand to buy chicken meat and open a small store that only requires a refrigerator, a cutting board and a scale.

Many vendors say that they contract with the chicken breeder for a daily amount of meat and pay them weekly.

The project is simple and costs no more than $ 500. The refrigerator and cutting board can be purchased from the user market. And a small shop, which can be rented for a small amount and that’s it.
