Nizar al-Hiraki, ambassador of the Syrian opposition's National Coalition to Qatar, has died from coronavirus in Turkey.
Al-Haraki, 58, who was the first representative of the Syrian opposition in the Arab countries, died on Sunday evening, source told Zaman al-Wasl.
Nasr al-Hariri, head of the National Coalition, and fellow opposition figures have mourned al-Hiraki, praising his virtues and loyalty to the values and principles of the Syrian revolution.
