Syria's power outage crisis might continue for the next three years, as the period which the power stations will be repaired, the Electricity Minister told state-run newspaper.
According to the Al Watan, Ghassan al-Zamil said that the expansion of the Tishreen power station will take up to three years, while the Aleppo station will take two years, and the Rastan station will take up to 11 months. Only after the completion of these projects, will the power outages be reduced and the situation improved.
