The Syrian Response Coordinators Group (SRCG) issued a summary of the humanitarian events in northwestern Syria and the violations of the regime and Russian forces during 2020.
According to the statistical data issued by SRCG on Monday, there was 288 air strikes carried out by Russian and regime aircrafts and helicopters and 1132 ground targets, from the beginning of the year to March 5, 2020, when the ceasefire agreement was signed between Russia and Turkey. The attacks led to the death of 231 men, 72 women, 128 children, and 12 humanitarian workers.
After the ceasefire, the data shows 56 air strikes by Russian aircrafts and 4,615 ground targets, four times the number before the signing of the agreement, causing the death of 34 men, 5 women, 15 children, and 6 humanitarian workers.
With the beginning of 2021, the regime and Russian daily violations continue in Habal Al Zawiya south of Idlib, Sahl Al Ghab west of Hama, and the liberated hills east of Latakia, as well as the continued military expansion near the mountain.
