At least 27 candidates to run Interim Government elections

(Zaman Alwasl)- At least 27 opposition figures have nominated themselves to lead National Coalition’s interim government according to Friday’s list which seen by Zaman Alwasl.

The most likely candidates are form government’s head Dr. Ahmed Toumeh, Mr. Eyad Qudsi and former PM Ghassan Hito.

Weeks ago, Syria; key opposition group has sacked Mr. Toumeh after series of failures and unrivaled disputes.

Qudsi seemed to be the front-runner to be new Interim government prime minister, sources said.

Nomination deadline will be on August 23.
