Coalition Interim PM resigns



Syria's rebel prime minister Ghassan Hitto announced his resignation on Monday, nearly four months after his appointment and having failed to form a government, AFP reported

"I announce I will not continue in my capacity as prime minister tasked with leading the interim government, though I emphasise I will continue working for the interests of the revolution and towards achieving its objectives," Hitto said in an online statement.


 
'The Independent Decision' Bloc is the newest opposition rally founded by 30 members of the Syrian National Coalition, Zaman Alwasl Arabic has exclusively published the founding statement, quted saying, 'We strongly support Ghassan Hito, as prime minister of the interim Coalition government. but the fractions within the coalition were bigger what led to Hitto resignation. 

The new bloc comes day after the election of new president for the National Coalition.

'The Independent Decision' includes Mustafa Sabbagh the former secretary-general of the coalition and many political and academic figures. 

 In relevant development, the National Coalition member, Hussain Sayed, had resigned early today Zaman Alwasl reported. "The coalition is no longer elevated to the Syrian Aspirations, it's time to say enough for frustration and despair, especially what happened recently from the regional polarization and internal within the Coalition".
