The Syrian cartoonist Abdul Karim Abdul Karim has participated in the International Media Freedom Exhibition in Indonesian in cooperation with the Federal Federation of Journalists.
The exhibition, which was held in Jakarta, included works by foreign and Arab artists, including two from Syria.
Abdul Karim’s participation came through a number of paintings that highlight the oppressive practices that
Syrian media professionals are exposed to in particular and media professionals in various countries of the world.
The number of participants in the "Indonesia" International Fair for Media Freedom, which kicked off last Friday, has reached more than 150 artists from more than 50 countries.
The first personal exhibition was in "Istanbul" in 2014, and his work in caricature varied with a number of media outlets, including the Syrian newspaper "Tamdun" in 2014, the Union of Syrian Democrats 2015 and Al-Ayyam Al-Suriya" newspaper since 2016.
