During Syrian government bombing campaigns, 930 healthcare workers have died, and a further 3,329 were arrested in the last ten years of civil war, according to the Violet Organisation.
The most recent bombing of a hospital by the Syrian regime was on March 21 this year, when Atarib Hospital in west Aleppo was targeted with artillery shells.
Eight people were killed, and more than a dozen staff and patients were injured.
Mr Al Saleh from The White Helmets said he has witnessed tens of attacks by the regime on medical facilities and hospitals first-hand, including strikes on ambulances during their rescue missions and the deliberate targeting of hospitals.
“All these attacks have the same nature: they are deliberate and devastating,” Mr Al Saleh said.
