Study shows speed in Syrian refugees integration in Austria

A study focused on migrants in Austria showed a speed in the Syrian refugees integration within the Austrian society, where every Syrian immigrant feels as if he is an Austrian citizen.
 
The Syrians topped the list of refugees integrated in Austria through their ability to adapt within Austrian society, surpassing the Afghans, the Chechens and the Turks.
 
The number of Syrians who sought refuge in Austria during the war years reached 250,000, 65% of whom work, while the rest complete their university studies.
 
Many Syrians practice a profession or profession with degrees as dentists, engineers, or other academic professions, in addition to working in restaurants, according to the study.
 
The Syrian conflict has claimed 494,438 lives and has displaced 13,2 million people since it erupted in March 2011 with the brutal repression of anti-regime protests.
