Zaman Alwasl reported that Sheikh Mouaz al-Khatib, former coalition president, had nominated himself for the Political board of the National Coalition but he didn't achieve the required quorum.
Two day ago the
National Coalition has elected its political commission which supposed to
participate the new president, the decisions he will take, it consisted
of: Ahmed Jarba, and his deputies
Mohamed Farouk Tayfur, Suheir Atassi, Salem al-Muslet, the Secretary-General
Badr Jamous, (Louay Safi, Abdul Basit Sida, Mowaffak Nyrabia, Micheal Kilo,
Kamal al-Hadi Naba'a, Anas al-Abdeh, Fayez Sarah, Mona Mostafa, Zakaria Sakkal,
Nazir al-Hakim, Akram Assaf, Munther Makhos, Ahmed Ramadan.
It's noteworthy that Farah Atassi has failed also
the election for political board, the American-Syrian opponent has announced
repeatedly her rejection to join the coalition, but she returned silently and
nominated herself to get only 15 votes while al-Khatib just 29 votes.
