(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels have arrested 4 fighters affiliated to the Islamic State group, claimed to be involved in assassination acts in the town of Sarmeen in Idlib province, source told Zaman al-Wasl.
The source says, 'search still ongoing for other 8 IS fighters who belong to the assassination cell'.
The extremist group, which controls swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria, has committed countless crimes against Islamic battalions’ commanders since the infighting erupted last January.
Meanwhile, IS members have shot, beheaded and crucified 3473 people, mostly Syrians, since the group appeared in Syria in 2013, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights.
