(Zaman Al Wasl)- Outrage goes viral on Social Media by Syrian and Lebanese activists as disturbing photos posted online showing supporters of Lebanese Hezbollah militia beating harshly a Syrian refugee in southern district of Beirut.
The young refugee has been beaten by 12 people near the airport road in the southern outskirt of Beirut, al-Dahiya, predominantly by Shiite sect, in response to photographs purportedly showing a second soldier who had been beheaded by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Many Lebanese voices and media activists denounced discrimination acts came to surface last weeks.
Activists reported high rates of violence against Syrian refugees in Lebanon that reach momentum since the battles erupted between Islamist jihadist and Lebanese army in August near the border town of Arsal in Bekaa valley where 28 soldiers and policemen held captives by ISIS and Nusra Front.
Hezbollah, Bashar al-Assad’s sincere ally, has fiercely contributed in escalating the hatred feeling against 1.5 million Syrian refugees since the Syrian conflict erupted in March 2011.
