Unified Judicial Council in Aleppo cautioned the sanctity of breaking the fast in Ramadan for people are not excused by Shariah. Any violation will be subject to penalty, 1 year imprisonment.
The Council stated in a statement congratulated the Syrians and the Islamic nation by the holy month of Ramadan that the unified criminal law adopted a law enforceable in the Council, a law derived from Islamic Shariah punishes violation of the sanctity of the month of Ramadan breakfast publicly in the place of imprisonment for 1 year
.The council also advised "Mujahideen" who have an excuse to break the fast, not to do that in public.
