Prisoner swap between rebel faction, Regime forces in Aleppo

The Turkish-backed National Army made a prisoner swap with the regime forces on Monday in northern Aleppo province, sources told Zaman al-Wasl.

The "Sultan Murad" Division operating under the umbrella of the "Syrian National Army" conducted the prisoner exchange with the regime forces at the Abu al-Zandin crossing near the city of al-Bab within the "Euphrates Shield" region.

The National Army released five members of the regime forces in exchange for five people who were in the prisons of the Syrian regime, in the presence of the Syrian Red Crescent and the International Red Cross.

The "National Army" conducted a prisoner exchange with the regime forces on December 16, with the guarantee of the Turkish and Russian sides, and at that time, five prisoners from both sides were also exchanged at the Abu al-Zandin crossing.
