Opposition government sacks two journalists over leaks allegations

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian opposition’s caretaker government on Thursday has dismissed two journalists working in media center over leaks allegations, source told Zaman al-Wasl.

Mr. Ahmed To’meh, the outgoing Interim government prime minister, has fired 5 workers, including Journalist Firas Deeba and Photojournalist Hussein Hamdoun over accusations of leaking information to media outlets.

National Coalition-run media has failed to deliver the Syrian suffering. NC is unable neither to communicate with people in the battlefield nor to build good connections, activists say.

Most leaks of opposition were by opposition figures, some of it unveiled corruption matters besides abuse of funds donated to Syrian people.

Meanwhile, at least 191,369 people have been killed in Syria's conflict; more than double the figure documented a year ago and probably still an under-estimate, according to the United Nations human rights office.
