Turkish forces stationed in the "fourth de-escalation" area in the northern Idlib province have set up a new military point in the Jabal al-Zawiya area, south of Idlib province, in conjunction with a continuous escalation by the regime forces and Russia.
Military sources told Zaman al-Wasl that the Turkish forces on Monday began establishing a new military post in the vicinity of the town of Al-Bara, close to the contact lines with the regime forces in the Jabal al-Zawiya area, south of Idlib, after a Turkish military reconnaissance delegation visited the area several days ago.
The sources confirmed that a Turkish military bulldozer began constructing earth mounds, and the point was reinforced with a tank and armored vehicles, in addition to logistic cars loaded with fuel and ammunition.
Meanwhile, the regime forces and militias linked to Russia and Iran targeted with heavy artillery and missiles the town of Maarat al-Naasan in northern Idlib, villages in the al-Ghab Plain area in the northwestern Hama countryside, and towns in the Jabal al-Zawiya area, south of Idlib city.
