Rebel commander warns of ground attack by West, says 'it considers occupation'

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Senior rebel commander, in statement to Zaman al-Wasl, warned of any ground attack by Western Powers, saying his armed group will deal with it as an occupation to Syria. 

Leader of Islamic Fajr al-Sham movement, Dr. Abu Abdullah al-Shami, said his fighters would resist any ground attack by the Western Community, considering the American war as an excuse to pound Islamic battalions whcih sincerely fight Syrian regime.

The planned American airstrikes are to polish the criminal face of the West, and to endorse a political solution that topples Bashar al-Assad and his aides with keeping the ‘Deep State’, al-Shami says.

According to al-Sahmi, the newly international coalition against the Islamic State militant group, has another objective which is countering the Sunni Jihad not only IS, it just a pretext, he said.

The young commander said the international coalition likened to adopt the Yemeni solution for Syria with benefits of its  experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Fajr al-Sham movement is a key unit in Ansar al-Din Front which includes brigades of Sham al-Islam, al-Khadra’a and Immigrants Army.
