Regime's First Lady in solace visit to Husband village as rage mounts


(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime's first lady Asma al-Assad with Grand Mufti have met families of the dead soldiers in Qardaha, Bashar al-Assad’s hometown, in step to dissolve piled complaints as death tool mounts.

The solace visit to Assad’s village in Latakia, came as nearly 1,500 fighters  have been killed during the three-year conflict, according to activists.

The last bulwark for Assad's family is a main supplier for Shabiha militia.

Activists said Assad’s main mission now is to rebuild trust. Some Alawite activists called for a new man to protect them.

Last August marked humiliating deafest on Assad’s forces inflicted by Islamic State group east Syria as well the Alawite villages have been a clear target for constant shelling by Nusra Front what sparked a state of fear and panic amid its people.

Syria's three-year conflict began as popular protests against four decades of Assad family rule but changed into armed insurgency under a security force crackdown.

More than 191,000 people killed and over 9million forced to flee their homes.
