Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov issues related to the four-way meeting on Syria held in Moscow, according to the Anadolu Agency.
The agency quoted a statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, in which it said that Cavusoglu held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Lavrov.
The statement added that Cavusoglu and Lavrov discussed issues related to the four-way meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Russia, Syria and Iran in Moscow on Syria.
Cavusoglu and Lavrov had held a meeting with the regime's foreign minister, Faisal Mekdad, and the Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, in Moscow on May 10, and announced their agreement to facilitate the guarantee of the return of Syrians to their homeland "in a voluntary, safe, and honorable manner."
