Security forces on Monday thwarted the attempts by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in the Tel Rifaat district of Aleppo to infiltrate the front lines of the Syrian National Army (SNA) in northern Syria.
The attempt to infiltrate the front lines from the village of Meranaz, south of the Azaz district near the Turkey border clashed with vigilant members of the SNA, according to local security sources.
The YPG-led militants, whose infiltration attempts were thwarted, fled after suffering losses.
