BEIRUT (The Daily Star): A rocket attack reportedly crashed into the location where captives from Lebanon’s military and security forces captured by Nusra Front militants last month are being held.
A targeted rocket attack crashed into the hide-out the Nusra Front claimed on an affiliated Twitter page Tuesday.
The militant group also attached a picture of the alleged rocket.
The attack has not been verified by any other party.
The Lebanese Army has beefed up its assaults on militant hideouts along the demarcated border separating Lebanon and neighboring Syria.
The Army has been pounding militants in the outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal and along other border regions.
