Saudi authorities deport rebel commander wanted to perform Hajj

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Saudi authorities on Friday have deported a rebel commander to Istanbul after being detained in Jeddah airport for one day, as he was planning to perform the Hajj.

The head of military council of Idlib, Col. Afif Suleiman, told Zaman al-Wasl that he has obtained a visa from Saudi consulate in Istanbul and everything is legal but the security services in the airport refused to let him enter the kingdom.

Suleiman has been told how a rebel commander has a passport, saying to him, he can get his passport again from the department of issuance in Aleppo which is under the control of Syrian regime.

Suleiman condemned the arbitrary procedures by Saudi authorities. He is now without any official document, he said.
