Those procedures are part of many precautions Tomeh took to stop information and documents’ leakage to media and the National Coalition, it started with sacking many employees from the media office and the general secretariat of the government”, the source added.

Those procedures have been taken as a part of the recommendations of the committee was formed to investigate and tackle leakage, led by Mohiddin Harmoosh and Khaldoon al-Kosiri.

Many employees in the Interim government denounced the step and resembled it to Syrian regime’s intelligence acts. “The prime minister will deprive us from papers and pens if he carries on with this security mentality"

The General Secretariat’s employees showed the same opinion of Tomeh’s procedures and some commented: “only those who are afraid of finding out their corruption, do those security procedures”

They added that leaked information could have been leaked by memorising and there was no need for those procedures, moreover, leaking information can be done by many aids without using laptops.
