Video: Opposition captures Iranian fighters fighting alongside Assad

<div style="text-align: left;"><div>Syrian activists circulated a video clip on social media confirming the participation of Iranian elements alongside the Syrian regime forces in their battles against the opposition forces led by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The video showed a militant, believed to be from Iran, among a group of prisoners who fell into the hands of the opposition factions on the battlefronts in northern Syria. The photographer asked him a question, and the fighter responded that he did not speak Arabic.</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;The opposition forces are a coalition of Turkey-backed mainstream secular armed groups along with Hyat Tahrir al Sham, a group that is the opposition’s most formidable military force.</div><div><br></div><div>The war, which has killed hundreds of thousands of people and displaced many millions, has ground on since 2011 with no formal end.
